Francisco Poz made in the 21st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Isaias Benvido however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Knut Kuschel in the 23rd minute of play forced Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's goalkeeper Clemente Astigar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isaias Benvido to strike the kick off in the second half. Clemente Astigar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Günther Kaiser in the 69th minute of the match.
