A collision led to GKS Milenium getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Stefan Marajda hit a great ball. If Pankracy Miecznikowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Waldemar Rybak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucjan Arendarski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Lucjan Arendarski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waldemar Rybak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobromir Czeszyk in the 26th minute of play. Waldemar Rybak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radowit Motowski in the 33rd minute of the match. When Brunatni Bełchatów's Teofil Puch in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dobromir Czeszyk in the 47th minute of play forced GKS Milenium's goalkeeper Waldemar Rybak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
