The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Paz Torices proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Glorioso Deportivo Cali from getting a goal against them. Glorioso Deportivo Cali's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mauricio Tello 8 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Urbano Bemabe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sanson Bayon in the 11th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Rodrigo Quentin took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Paz Torices to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aaron Distiratsu got free with Paz Torices in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16th minute Artemio Celino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paz Torices saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Albigasta FC's Paz Torices threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Artemio Celino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Paz Torices played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Tello in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Jorge Obeko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Paz Torices was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aaron Distiratsu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Paz Torices firmly grabbed it by the left post. Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Paz Torices proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Glorioso Deportivo Cali from getting a goal against them. Paz Torices took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Quentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had been going on for 43 minutes, Albigasta FC's Mario Maju got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Paz Torices. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

If Mauricio Tello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 54th minute, Vinicio Ciencabrero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Melchazadec Sorondo took a quick shot and it went in 6-1 without a chance for Urbano Bemabe to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Albigasta FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Pablo Abadie hit a great ball. If Sanson Bayon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mario Maju charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mario Maju the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Glorioso Deportivo Cali booed when Albigasta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Maju didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paz Torices made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Quentin in the 67th minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Albigasta FC's Mauricio Tello nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paz Torices made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. Virgilio Romano scored 8-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paz Torices, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Paz Torices showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Distiratsu, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Paz Torices showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Quentin in the 82nd minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Albigasta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Melchazadec Sorondo came free, but Urbano Bemabe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paz Torices made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Romano in the 91st minute of play. After 93 minutes of play, Albigasta FC's Rodrigo Quentin made it 9-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paz Torices was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paz Torices showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Romano, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Paz Torices played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Tello in the 97th minute of play. Albigasta FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
