The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Eulalio Guillem fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Funebrero FC's protests and gave Eulalio Guillem a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Funebrero FC booed when NGOP Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilijano Vidoevski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruben Balesio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trajče Ickovski, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. NGOP Football Club's Stanislav Filipov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Gines in the 8th minute of play. Eulalio Guillem kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Olívio Cerezo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruben Balesio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Moises Gines managed to get in a good position for a shot. Funebrero FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Gines was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stanislav Filipov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Funebrero FC's Ruben Balesio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Funebrero FC from getting a goal against them. Ruben Balesio made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Olívio Cerezo sent off a good shot on target. Januz Hristovski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ruben Balesio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Modesto Hulberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Emilijano Vidoevski came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the NGOP Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilijano Vidoevski couldn't finish the play. Funebrero FC's Ruben Balesio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Funebrero FC from getting a goal against them. Januz Hristovski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruben Balesio having to make a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moises Gines stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ruben Balesio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trajče Ickovski in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd match minute, NGOP Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Slobodan Nikoloski to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Januz Hristovski in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruben Balesio saved Funebrero FC from getting behind. Ruben Balesio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trajče Ickovski in the 55th minute of the match. Moises Gines could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Stanislav Filipov made a huge save. In the 61st minute, Olívio Cerezo made a precise shot to the right of Ruben Balesio. Funebrero FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 65th minute, Januz Hristovski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruben Balesio was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 69th minute, Januz Hristovski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NGOP Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. With an all-out effort, Funebrero FC's Stanislav Filipov threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Modesto Hulberto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 74th minute, Olívio Cerezo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ruben Balesio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilijano Vidoevski, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. A very good chance for a goal. In the 95th minute, Miromir Gamza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hernan Gaitan, 96 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
