Fabian Zacharczyk came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Geraldo Queiroz could save by the left post. Ramon Ramon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Geraldo Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 27 minutes into the game, when Wojciech Markowski put in a rough tackle. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Natural Born Killers! Tito Borubar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dudu Madureira's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Dudu Madureira put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Tito Borubar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Klement Drab during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th minute, Klement Drab hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Rockets's goal looked a bit too open when Slawomir Spychalski came free, but Geraldo Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Rockets were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Fabinho Mattos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rockets's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabinho Mattos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tito Borubar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tito Borubar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fabinho Mattos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 57 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Dudu Madureira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tito Borubar was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Boleslaw Major was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 86th match minute, Rockets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valério Peres to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Rockets's zone, Ramon Ramon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geraldo Queiroz came out of the goal and Ramon Ramon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Slawomir Spychalski's late challenge caught a Rockets's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Slawomir Spychalski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd minute of the match, Dudu Madureira got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tito Borubar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The Rockets supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rockets would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
