The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Palermo AFC booed when Młoda Warka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witalis Cichowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Witalis Cichowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Barros having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Palermo AFC's Esen Zaik threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Everardo Koldobika, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Esen Zaik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godofredo Gabon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the game, Mihail Cepoi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Severino Barros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludomil Pieprz in the 23rd minute of play forced Palermo AFC's goalkeeper Severino Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Ludomil Pieprz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Młoda Warka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The audience was convinced that Mihail Cepoi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Severino Barros was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Mihail Cepoi sped through Palermo AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Severino Barros. Severino Barros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Israel Odilon to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Palermo AFC's goalkeeper Severino Barros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mihail Cepoi. In the 55th minute Valdomiro Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Młoda Warka's supporters rose to their feet, but Witalis Cichowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severino Barros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Israel Odilon in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esen Zaik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Młoda Warka's Witalis Cichowski in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Palermo AFC's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Godofredo Gabon in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esen Zaik saved Młoda Warka from getting behind. Mihail Cepoi's late challenge caught a Palermo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mihail Cepoi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Palermo AFC booed when Młoda Warka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihail Cepoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Młoda Warka's Witomir Czerner was substituted for Mihail Cepoi. After 84 played minutes Młoda Warka got a freekick which was hit by Mihail Cepoi. Palermo AFC's Severino Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witomir Czerner in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute Witalis Cichowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 88 minutes, Ludomil Pieprz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Młoda Warka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ludomil Pieprz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Godofredo Gabon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Młoda Warka had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
