Enzo Odon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Pedro Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Fernandinho Barbosa came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the FLA MQ BRASIL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernandinho Barbosa couldn't finish the play. The supporters of FLA MQ BRASIL booed when Viento Norte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Sidoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Viento Norte FC's Enzo Odon got control of the ball when Benedito Diniz tried to sneak it across the goal line. José Pedro Carvalho's late challenge caught a Viento Norte FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Pedro Carvalho helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Viento Norte FC booed when FLA MQ BRASIL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Pedro Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Viento Norte FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Pedro Carvalho came free, but Enzo Odon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santo Cutberto charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santo Cutberto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Viento Norte FC's Enzo Odon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fabiano Freire in the 39th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Luís Fabiano Freire dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Enzo Odon, 2-0. In the 45th minute, Jairo Vergaray hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Eliézer Aparecido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After 52 minutes, Lauro Rosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FLA MQ BRASIL and the Viento Norte FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 52 played minutes FLA MQ BRASIL got a freekick which was hit by Lauro Rosa. FLA MQ BRASIL's Joel Aguiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Cutberto in the 53rd minute of play. In the 61st minute Luís Fabiano Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Odon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Luís Fabiano Freire ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enzo Odon was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Enzo Odon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Fabiano Freire went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Lauro Rosa was shown his second yellow card after 72 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santo Cutberto got free with Joel Aguiar in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 87thth minute of the game Luís Fabiano Freire who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Viento Norte FC's Enzo Odon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Santo Cutberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joel Aguiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Cutberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After having played for 93 minutes, Santo Cutberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Viento Norte FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santo Cutberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eliézer Aparecido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. There was no doubt that FLA MQ BRASIL were the better team. FLA MQ BRASIL's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
