Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Xandinho Bomba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Israel Odilon in the 10th minute of play. Severino Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gugu Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Godofredo Gabon in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Xandinho Bomba, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Xandinho Bomba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Frascuelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Israel Odilon took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xandinho Bomba. Xandinho Bomba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 47th minute, Palermo AFC's Everardo Esquipula seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Everardo Esquipula the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Palermo AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Everardo Esquipula had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ booed when Palermo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Esquipula didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Severino Barros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gugu Silva went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Severino Barros made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Gugu Silva sent off a good shot on target. Gugu Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Barros having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Palermo AFC's Octavio Frascuelo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xandinho Bomba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Severino Barros made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Vladimir Furlan sent off a good shot on target. When Palermo AFC's Teodosio Stanislao in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Xandinho Bomba had in the 88thth minute some difficulties stopping Teodosio Stanislao's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Frascuelo in the 91st minute of play forced Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's goalkeeper Xandinho Bomba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led to Palermo AFC's Tobias Sasoin getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gugu Silva during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 96 played minutes Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Gugu Silva. In the 97th minute of the match Octavio Frascuelo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xandinho Bomba skillfully saved the ball. Severino Barros was a little too slow when Vladimir Furlan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 99th minute. The score was now 4-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Palermo AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
