Kennet Lagerberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamílton Campidelis, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. João Pedro dos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ove Åberg in the 13th minute of the match. Bearnaise EA's Kennet Lagerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adhemar da Fonseca in the 16th minute of play. Grzegorz Rasiak took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Pedro dos Santos. João Pedro dos Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Hamílton Campidelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kennet Lagerberg having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Adhemar da Fonseca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wambalamba FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Walmir de Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. João Pedro dos Santos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan-Olof Alin in the 28th minute. Dinei Goiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kennet Lagerberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinei Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Grzegorz Rasiak to make the kick off. João Pedro dos Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grzegorz Rasiak in the 57th minute of play. Guga Secco hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, Christian Gunnarsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Pedro dos Santos. Wambalamba FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Gunnarsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fritz Håkansson in the 75th minute of play forced Wambalamba FC's goalkeeper João Pedro dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77 minutes, Jim Houwing mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bearnaise EA and the Wambalamba FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bearnaise EA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 77th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 78 minutes, Wambalamba FC's Dinei Goiano got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Kennet Lagerberg. João Pedro dos Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ove Åberg in the 82nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Grzegorz Rasiak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Pedro dos Santos was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Wambalamba FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
