In the 5th minute, Johannes Kleen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mårten Alström's late challenge caught a Heide FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mårten Alström helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Heide FC booed when Bearnaise EA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mårten Alström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mårten Alström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Maruda having to interfere. A collision led to Bearnaise EA getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Bo-Erik Melin hit a great ball. In the 19thth minute of the game Jan-Olof Alin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Heide FC's Jan Maruda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jan Maruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Olof Alin, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Bearnaise EA's Kennet Lagerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olgierd Madajczyk in the 24th minute of play. Borys Awizo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Kennet Lagerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kennet Lagerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olgierd Madajczyk in the 32nd minute of the match. Heide FC's Jan Maruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Olof Alin in the 39th minute of play. Sten Olsmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ove Åberg in the 42nd minute of play forced Heide FC's goalkeeper Jan Maruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan-Olof Alin in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan Maruda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sten Olsmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Maruda having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olgierd Madajczyk to strike the kick off in the second half. Heide FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Jan-Olof Alin scored to the left of an out of position Jan Maruda, making the score, 0-1. 57 minutes into the match, Heide FC's goalkeeper Jan Maruda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan-Olof Alin. Borys Awizo kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Jan-Olof Alin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Maruda having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olgierd Madajczyk in the 72nd minute of play forced Bearnaise EA's goalkeeper Kennet Lagerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Heide FC defense, Agne Aronsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan Maruda. The Heide FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Maruda should have stopped the shot. In the 76th minute of the match, Jan-Olof Alin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jan Maruda was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jan Maruda made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Mårten Alström sent off a good shot on target. Mårten Alström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jan Maruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan-Olof Alin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 92nd minute. Bearnaise EA's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 93 minutes, Jan-Olof Alin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bearnaise EA and the Heide FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bearnaise EA played a much better game than Heide FC and deserved their victory. The Heide FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
