Marco Perez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcus Soeiro's late challenge caught a A A Arizona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcus Soeiro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th match minute, XV de Indaial was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. Edgar Godoi's late challenge caught a XV de Indaial's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgar Godoi helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to A A Arizona getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Edgar Godoi hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Eliézer Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. XV de Indaial's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliézer Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodolfo Siqueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eliézer Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Siqueira having to interfere. Marco Perez came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by A A Arizona's Chicão Freire. But to his dismay, Chicão Freire quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 27 played minutes XV de Indaial got a freekick which was hit by Chiquinho Pinho. In the 30th minute Valério Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute Luís Fabiano Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fabiano Branco in the 33rd minute of play. In the 41st minute Chicão Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute Valério Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severino Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Rodolfo Siqueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Perez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valério Paranaense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 48 minutes into the match, XV de Indaial's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Luís Bertassi came free, but Marco Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half A A Arizona were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severino Borges stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Chicão Freire took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Marco Perez to make any attempt to save it. In the 56th minute, Pedro Luís Bertassi made a precise shot to the right of Marco Perez. XV de Indaial's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Marco Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chicão Freire in the 60th minute of play. XV de Indaial's Marco Perez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save XV de Indaial from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Pedro Luís Bertassi took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Marco Perez to make any attempt to save it. 65 minutes into the match, Pedro Luís Bertassi notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of XV de Indaial's Marco Perez. Marco Perez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 68th minute, Valério Paranaense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Perez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. A collision led to XV de Indaial getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Adelino Silva hit a great ball. The supporters of A A Arizona booed when XV de Indaial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Paraense didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute of the match Manuel Monteiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marco Perez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 74th minute Luís Fabiano Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, Edgar Godoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 78 minutes of play, A A Arizona's Pedro Luís Bertassi made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Perez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marco Perez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Luís Bertassi went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-12 was the resulting score. Marco Perez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chicão Freire in the 88th minute of the match. Pedro Luís Bertassi succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-13 in the 91st playminute. After having played for 95 minutes, Luís Fabiano Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A A Arizona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Fabiano Branco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The XV de Indaial fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. A A Arizona were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
