In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Esquirla FC's goalkeeper Dimitri Huijbreghts, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Esquirla FC's Dimitri Huijbreghts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Luís Bertassi in the 10th minute of play. After having played for 11 minutes, Basiel Van de Weijer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esquirla FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basiel Van de Weijer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Esquirla FC's Laurens Van Aken got a free kick in the 14th minute. A collision led to Esquirla FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Basiel Van de Weijer hit a great ball. Chicão Freire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitri Huijbreghts having to interfere. If Jo Rosbach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th match minute, A A Arizona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Álvaro de Castro to maneuver through the defense. Dimitri Huijbreghts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chicão Freire, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Luís Fabiano Branco sped through Esquirla FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dimitri Huijbreghts. Dimitri Huijbreghts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fabiano Branco in the 42nd minute of the match. Luís Fabiano Branco took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dimitri Huijbreghts. Dimitri Huijbreghts dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After the first half A A Arizona were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Basiel Van de Weijer to strike the kick off in the second half. Dimitri Huijbreghts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chicão Freire in the 56th minute of play. Rodolfo Siqueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basiel Van de Weijer, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After having played for 62 minutes, Basiel Van de Weijer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esquirla FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basiel Van de Weijer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ruben Hally kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Dimitri Huijbreghts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valério Paranaense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dimitri Huijbreghts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fabiano Branco in the 75th minute of the match. When Esquirla FC's Jo Rosbach in 76 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Rodolfo Siqueira guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Valério Paranaense received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dimitri Huijbreghts came out and tried to block the shot, but Valério Paranaense slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 79th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as A A Arizona's Valério Paranaense slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dimitri Huijbreghts. That made the score 1-5 after 84 minutes of play. Pedro Luís Bertassi did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-6 to the left of a surprised Dimitri Huijbreghts 88 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, A A Arizona's Álvaro de Castro got a free kick in the 91st minute. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Valério Paranaense took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Dimitri Huijbreghts to make any attempt to save it. A A Arizona's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
