Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Les Tigres's Martin Ostadar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valério Paranaense in the 3rd minute of play. After 4 minutes of play, Les Tigres's Rigoberto Iratze made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodolfo Siqueira was left in no man's land by his defense there! 6 minutes into the match, A A Arizona's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Guerau came free, but Rodolfo Siqueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodolfo Siqueira made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Rigoberto Iratze sent off a good shot on target. When Fabian Reynardo came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Les Tigres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Reynardo couldn't finish the play. In the 13th minute, Rigoberto Iratze made a precise shot to the right of Rodolfo Siqueira. A A Arizona's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After having played for 17 minutes, Rigoberto Iratze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Les Tigres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rigoberto Iratze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Rigoberto Iratze notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of A A Arizona's Rodolfo Siqueira. Rodolfo Siqueira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Álvaro de Castro made in the 28th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Pedro Luís Bertassi immediately put the ball in play. 31 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Iratze recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rodolfo Siqueira. Rigoberto Iratze showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. Feliciano Tuste hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Les Tigres's Rigoberto Iratze got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Martin Ostadar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chicão Freire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute Rigoberto Iratze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Siqueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valério Paranaense to make the kick off. Les Tigres's Martin Ostadar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chicão Freire in the 51st minute of play. A A Arizona were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Les Tigres's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Manuel Monteiro took the corner. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Luís Fabiano Branco took a quick shot and it went in 5-1 without a chance for Martin Ostadar to make any attempt to save it. 57 minutes into the match, A A Arizona's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Iratze came free, but Rodolfo Siqueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliciano Tuste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Godoi in the 63rd minute of play forced Les Tigres's goalkeeper Martin Ostadar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Ostadar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fabiano Branco in the 69th minute of play. Martin Ostadar was a little too slow when Valério Paranaense got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 5-2. In the 75th match minute, A A Arizona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luís Bertassi to maneuver through the defense. Rodolfo Siqueira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rigoberto Iratze went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Les Tigres's Feliciano Tuste got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 89th minute, Rigoberto Iratze got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Martin Ostadar was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Chicão Freire capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Chicão Freire really showed his touch with that goal: 6-4. A A Arizona's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Les Tigres had won, even though A A Arizona had held more of the ball.
