Jacinto de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Venerando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabiano de Sousa hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After having played for 5 minutes, Alejo Arlo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LACELESTEYBLANCA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejo Arlo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th match minute, Milanis E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Carlos da Cunha to maneuver through the defense. Hélder Britto hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After 30 minutes, Christian Bladi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LACELESTEYBLANCA and the Milanis E.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Milanis E.C. booed when LACELESTEYBLANCA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Bladi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Milanis E.C.'s Augusto das Neves shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 31st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Luciano Polo but with some difficulty. Alejo Arlo's late challenge caught a Milanis E.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alejo Arlo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, LACELESTEYBLANCA's Alejo Arlo got a free kick in the 40th minute. Zé Carlos da Cunha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luciano Polo having to make a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Luciano Polo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Carlos da Cunha in the 51st minute of the match. If Zé Carlos da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in LACELESTEYBLANCA's zone, Júlio Pombal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luciano Polo came out of the goal and Júlio Pombal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ulises Venerando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jacinto de Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augusto das Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Polo having to interfere. Luciano Polo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Carlos da Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hélder Britto during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hélder Britto kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After 79 played minutes Milanis E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ian Rossi. Jacinto de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Venerando, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After 83 played minutes LACELESTEYBLANCA got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Peli. When Ronaldão Mazza came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Milanis E.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldão Mazza couldn't finish the play. The LACELESTEYBLANCA players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Milanis E.C. from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
