Judas Icardi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francesco Tabacco, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Franco Mariano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Judas Icardi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francesco Tabacco went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beppe Rivera in the 26th minute of play forced Fcion C.A.'s goalkeeper Judas Icardi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Franco Mariano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Judas Icardi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Judas Icardi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beppe Rivera in the 29th minute of play. In the 33rd minute of the match Gladiator FC got a corner. Fcion C.A.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Gladiator FC's Fulvio Di Prinzio was substituted for Bianco Carozza. After 53 minutes, Beppe Rivera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gladiator FC and the Fcion C.A. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gladiator FC's Beppe Rivera got a free kick in the 75th minute. Judas Icardi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ennio Pizzi in the 80th minute. Fcion C.A.'s Judas Icardi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Tatangelo in the 85th minute of play. Ennio Pizzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Judas Icardi made a huge save. After 89 minutes, Fabiano Rossi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gladiator FC and the Fcion C.A. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Gladiator FC booed when Fcion C.A. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Perico didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Beppe Rivera was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 97 minutes had been played.
