Spectators: 7565 (Terracing: 5675, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 151) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Abelardo Perico kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Pacella in the 13th minute of play forced Fcion C.A.'s goalkeeper Judas Icardi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Judas Icardi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Maties in the 25th minute of the match. Judas Icardi came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Benevento's Leopoldo Maties. But to his dismay, Leopoldo Maties quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 34 minutes into the match, Atletico Benevento's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Enaut came free, but Ken Albrigtsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Armando Pacella had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Judas Icardi. Fcion C.A.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armando Pacella was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 41 minutes of play, Atletico Benevento's Leopoldo Maties made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Judas Icardi was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Atletico Benevento were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Leopoldo Maties made the kick off in the second half. Judas Icardi made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Alexander Albertosi sent off a good shot on target.
