In the 7th minute, Gertjan Reiling ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruperto Bettini was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jonatán Escalona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Kelmond S.C. getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Rolf Pilage hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kelmond S.C.'s zone, Arnoldo Cantuarias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferry Schattenberg came out of the goal and Arnoldo Cantuarias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the match, Kelmond S.C.'s goalkeeper Ferry Schattenberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonatán Escalona. Chris Bruinsma charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chris Bruinsma the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jose Warnes got free with Ferry Schattenberg in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 27 in the game by Arnoldo Cantuarias from a close distance when the talented Ferry Schattenberg managed to make a qualified save. Kelmond S.C.'s players were relieved. Ferry Schattenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Gibbs in the 30th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Arnoldo Cantuarias kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ferry Schattenberg. That made the score 1-1 in the 34 minute of play. Jonatán Escalona took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferry Schattenberg. Ferry Schattenberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Chris Bruinsma was shown his second yellow card after 41 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Kelmond S.C. getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Chris Bruinsma hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnoldo Cantuarias in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferry Schattenberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ferry Schattenberg stood somewhat misplaced when Jonatán Escalona came free in front of goal and shot 3-1 to the left of him in the 46 minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gert Hulzebos was the one to do the kick off. Ferry Schattenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatán Escalona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jose Warnes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonatán Escalona scored 4-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferry Schattenberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kelmond S.C.'s Ferry Schattenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatán Escalona in the 59th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Jonatán Escalona managed to get in a good position for a shot. LA 90 DE HUGO's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonatán Escalona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferry Schattenberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ferry Schattenberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonatán Escalona's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Ger Daems charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ger Daems the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 75th minute Jonatán Escalona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferry Schattenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose Warnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jose Warnes struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Ferry Schattenberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LA 90 DE HUGO. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mathijs Dalman during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kelmond S.C.'s Mathijs Dalman got a free kick in the 85th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kelmond S.C.'s zone, Arnoldo Cantuarias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferry Schattenberg came out of the goal and Arnoldo Cantuarias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ferry Schattenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatán Escalona, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatán Escalona in the 90th minute of play forced Kelmond S.C.'s goalkeeper Ferry Schattenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Arnoldo Cantuarias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonatán Escalona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Ferry Schattenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
