Max Hybbert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Ernesto Montenegro made a huge save. A collision led to Gotham City getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Folke Ström hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Cambotinha EC's goalkeeper Ernesto Montenegro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan Åman. Cambotinha EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Ragnar Kjellbom scored to the left of an out of position Ernesto Montenegro, making the score, 2-0. Max Hybbert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Montenegro having to interfere. Arman Drewitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Ernesto Montenegro made a huge save. 37 minutes into the match, Ragnar Kjellbom dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ernesto Montenegro, 3-0. In the 42nd match minute, Cambotinha EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Alvarenga to maneuver through the defense. Ernesto Montenegro acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 43rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Joakim Månsson. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicolas Alvarenga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the game, Sandrinho Donatello cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Ove Damm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 69 played minutes Cambotinha EC got a freekick which was hit by Antônio Toledo. In the 73rdth minute of the game Ragnar Kjellbom who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cambotinha EC's Ernesto Montenegro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ragnar Kjellbom in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernesto Montenegro saved Cambotinha EC from getting behind. 75 minutes into the match, Ragnar Kjellbom had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernesto Montenegro. Cambotinha EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ragnar Kjellbom was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Ragnar Kjellbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Montenegro having to interfere. In the 88th match minute, Cambotinha EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antônio Toledo to maneuver through the defense. Cambotinha EC's Nicolas Alvarenga got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
