Spectators: 7524 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) Fargo SC's Virgilio Mangas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Fargo SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niels-Jan Drok to maneuver through the defense. In the 4th minute, Fargo SC's Virgilio Mangas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 17th minute of the match Rafa Pereira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dick van der Stoel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 18th minute Virgilio Mangas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cafu Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's José Maria da Costa got a free kick in the 19th minute. After 24 played minutes LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Rafa Pereira. After a rather tough play, Fargo SC's Niels-Jan Drok got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 31st match minute, LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antônio Carlos Ceresso to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's Cafu Amaral got control of the ball when Foeke Wilminck tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Virgilio Mangas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cafu Amaral was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. In the 38th minute Billy Sluis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cafu Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's goalkeeper Cafu Amaral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Neshat Vangjeli. Fargo SC were furious when Casper Tinselboer was red carded, 48 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Dick van der Stoel had in the 49thth minute some difficulties stopping Hudson de Godoi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's Hudson de Godoi managed to work through Fargo SC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Hudson de Godoi dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hudson de Godoi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Hudson de Godoi made a precise shot to the right of Dick van der Stoel. Fargo SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Dick van der Stoel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hudson de Godoi in the 61st minute. Carlos Augusto Perez charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Augusto Perez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Foeke Wilminck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Billy Sluis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the game, Hudson de Godoi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fargo SC the free kick. After a rather tough play, LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's Hudson de Godoi got a free kick in the 78th minute. José Maria da Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billy Sluis in the 83rd minute of play forced LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's goalkeeper Cafu Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 86 played minutes LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Augusto Perez. Billy Sluis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fargo SC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
