Fargo SC were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Fire Devils's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Casper Tinselboer took the corner. The corner led Fargo SC's Casper Tinselboer to fire away a dangerous shot which Toto Caputo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 21st minute Fargo SC were awarded a corner. Casper Tinselboer went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Fargo SC's corner Casper Tinselboer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Toto Caputo quite easily take care of the ball. In the 26th minute, Virgilio Mangas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fargo SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Michael Valentijn hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Denis Lambrozzi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dick van der Stoel came out and tried to block the shot, but Denis Lambrozzi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 37th minute. Toto Caputo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgilio Mangas in the 41st minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leander Uliassi made a kick off. Virgilio Mangas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th match minute, Fire Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leander Uliassi to maneuver through the defense. Toto Caputo made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Virgilio Mangas sent off a good shot on target. Virgilio Mangas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Virgilio Mangas might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Toto Caputo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Virgilio Mangas ran back to his position shaking his head. Virgilio Mangas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Toto Caputo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Fire Devils's Toto Caputo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billy Sluis in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Fargo SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Billy Sluis to maneuver through the defense. Fire Devils's Denis Lambrozzi got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 86 in the game by Virgilio Mangas from a close distance when the talented Toto Caputo managed to make a qualified save. Fire Devils's players were relieved. Virgilio Mangas scored 1-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Toto Caputo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 96th match minute, Fargo SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Valentijn to maneuver through the defense.
