The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edinho Bueno was the one to do the kick off. CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Ahmet Orhan Sabeddin came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Stowe City's Cameron Cardona. But to his dismay, Cameron Cardona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Hilario Illan's late challenge caught a Stowe City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hilario Illan helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Hilario Illan managed to get in a good position for a shot. CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's supporters rose to their feet, but Hilario Illan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Willie Cabrera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 94 minutes of play, CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's Leonel Luar made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Willie Cabrera was left in no man's land by his defense there!
