But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeronimo Lizar couldn't finish the play. After 45 minutes, Sandro Veiga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FLU ES fc and the Correla q va en Chancleta players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 45 played minutes FLU ES fc got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Veiga. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeronimo Lizar to make the kick off. Maurinho da Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Lizar in the 53rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Correla q va en Chancleta defense, Sandro Veiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anibal Emenon. FLU ES fc's Maurinho da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Hernando in the 64th minute of play. Sandro Veiga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anibal Emenon having to make a save. Gilson Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 69th minute, Christian Hernando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeronimo Lizar in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maurinho da Costa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Gilson Xavier took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Anibal Emenon to make any attempt to save it. Sandro Veiga took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anibal Emenon. Anibal Emenon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-8. Maurinho da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Lizar, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Gilson Xavier hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After 85 played minutes FLU ES fc got a freekick which was hit by Reinaldo Paranaense. Ismael de Andrade charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ismael de Andrade the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Maurinho da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Lizar in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Sandro Veiga had to leave the field with a concussion. Correla q va en Chancleta's Ignacio Otoniel got his second yellow card of the match in the 91st minute. The referee ordered Ignacio Otoniel off the ground. The supporters of FLU ES fc booed when Correla q va en Chancleta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Otoniel didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded FLU ES fc left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Correla q va en Chancleta.
