The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ciro Del Vecchio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingemar Sigman in the 6th minute of play. Ciro Del Vecchio was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Ingemar Sigman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. After some careless play in the Ocean´s Eleven defense, Adriano Barone kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andreas Viberg. The Ocean´s Eleven fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andreas Viberg should have stopped the shot. Anfilogino Rocca's late challenge caught a Ocean´s Eleven's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anfilogino Rocca helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Villa Gordiani getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Anfilogino Rocca hit a great ball. After 28 played minutes Villa Gordiani got a freekick which was hit by Concetto Trombatore. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingemar Sigman got free with Ciro Del Vecchio in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th match minute, Villa Gordiani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino Cimino to maneuver through the defense. Anfilogino Rocca kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Ingvar Hjortsberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Ciro Del Vecchio made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Ocean´s Eleven's Ingemar Sigman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ciro Del Vecchio. That made the score 3-1 after 42 minutes of play. Ciro Del Vecchio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingemar Sigman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Villa Gordiani getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Concetto Trombatore hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adriano Barone to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Villa Gordiani's Anfilogino Rocca got a free kick in the 52nd minute. When Ocean´s Eleven's Ingemar Sigman in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 65 minutes of play Villa Gordiani's Anfilogino Rocca was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Ocean´s Eleven booed when Villa Gordiani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anfilogino Rocca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kevin Julin might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciro Del Vecchio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kevin Julin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 74th minute, Ingemar Sigman made a precise shot to the right of Ciro Del Vecchio. Villa Gordiani's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. 81 minutes into the game, Kevin Julin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Ciro Del Vecchio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 89 played minutes, Villa Gordiani's Dino Cimino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Andreas Viberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Villa Gordiani reached it. Ciro Del Vecchio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingemar Sigman in the 94th minute of play.
