Spectators: 7507 (Terracing: 5631, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Albirex Niigata FC's Mark Hock started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 10 minutes of play, Facopo FBPA's Marcelo Souza made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dale Lim was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thiago Pena charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thiago Pena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thiago Pena hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Facopo FBPA's Pedro Augusto Vergílio got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dale Lim made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Marcelo Souza sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th match minute, Albirex Niigata FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clive Politiek to maneuver through the defense. After 30 played minutes Facopo FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Gabriel Damião. Enio Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Azli Seah in the 32nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Facopo FBPA's Thiago Pena slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dale Lim. That made the score 2-0 after 34 minutes of play. Evaristo Salles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dale Lim having to make a save. After 39th play minutes Pedro Augusto Vergílio shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Dale Lim and just under the crossbar into goal. Enio Trigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Hock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 46 played minutes Facopo FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Salles. Enio Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afriz Hian, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Augusto Vergílio to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Alexander Tan made a precise shot to the right of Enio Trigo. Facopo FBPA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Dale Lim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Augusto Vergílio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute Mark Hock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enio Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Albirex Niigata FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Nicholas Tan hit a great ball. Afriz Hian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enio Trigo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Evaristo Salles in the 70th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Albirex Niigata FC's Nicholas Tan. In the 71st minute, Mark Hock left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Albirex Niigata FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. In the 75th minute, Pedro Augusto Vergílio made a precise shot to the right of Dale Lim. Albirex Niigata FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Facopo FBPA's Enio Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Tan in the 79th minute of play. Dale Lim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Gabriel Damião in the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Marcelo Souza made a precise shot to the right of Dale Lim. Albirex Niigata FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. Enio Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Hock in the 90th minute of the match. After 92 played minutes Facopo FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Dé Fontes. The supporters of Albirex Niigata FC booed when Facopo FBPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dé Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Facopo FBPA's Enio Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Hock in the 94th minute of play.
