Norbert Demeter started the match with the kick off. Eugênio Ribeiro hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Diego Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lóránd Borbás in the 6th minute of play. Diego Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ákos Kecskés, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lóránd Borbás took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diego Viana. Diego Viana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Norbert Demeter got free with Diego Viana in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th minute, Norbert Demeter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PMFC 2018 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Mineiro's goalkeeper Diego Viana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Atlético Mineiro booed when PMFC 2018 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ákos Kecskés didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lóránd Borbás in the 40th minute of play forced Atlético Mineiro's goalkeeper Diego Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Ákos Kecskés notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Atlético Mineiro's Diego Viana. Diego Viana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luiz Guilherme Batista stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, PMFC 2018's Norbert Demeter got a free kick in the 51st minute. After some careless play in the Atlético Mineiro defense, Ákos Kecskés kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diego Viana. The Atlético Mineiro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diego Viana should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Lóránd Borbás managed to get in a good position for a shot. PMFC 2018's supporters rose to their feet, but Lóránd Borbás was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diego Viana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Diego Viana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ákos Kecskés went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. 69 minutes into the game, PMFC 2018's Lóránd Borbás nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diego Viana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. With a little luck, PMFC 2018's Rómeó Ambrus got control of the ball when Vitório Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, PMFC 2018's Antal Csordás got a free kick in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Guilherme Batista in the 75th minute of play forced PMFC 2018's goalkeeper Rómeó Ambrus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Viana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. In the 96th minute Vitório Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rómeó Ambrus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PMFC 2018's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
