Spectators: 7511 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) If Tytus Ogrodowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the game, Toni Polster cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Markus Albäck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 17th minute Toni Polster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Albäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Markus Albäck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toni Polster in the 25th minute of play. MKS Legion Częstochowa's Józef Pilsudski got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Markus Albäck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toni Polster in the 34th minute of the match. Markus Albäck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toni Polster in the 37th minute. Józef Pilsudski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Markus Albäck having to make a save. Markus Albäck came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by MKS Legion Częstochowa's Toni Polster. But to his dismay, Toni Polster quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Józef Pilsudski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Markus Albäck having to make a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Florian Serwach hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After 56 played minutes Nye got a freekick which was hit by Henric Nordström. Olaf Radziszewski might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Markus Albäck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olaf Radziszewski ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 63rd minute Toni Polster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Albäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nye's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emil Kalinowski was slow to take the kick. During this time MKS Legion Częstochowa's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Tytus Ogrodowicz managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toni Polster in the 67th minute of play forced Nye's goalkeeper Markus Albäck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Nye's zone, Józef Pilsudski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Markus Albäck came out of the goal and Józef Pilsudski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute, Henric Nordström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toni Polster succeeded in the game's 83rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-0. Norbert Bambas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Markus Albäck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Nye's Tobias Mickelsson got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Emil Kalinowski struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Markus Albäck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MKS Legion Częstochowa. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. MKS Legion Częstochowa had played much better football throughout.
