Nye's Markus Albäck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Nye from getting a goal against them. Cezar Barboni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 13 minutes, Henric Nordström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nye's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henric Nordström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as FC ciufulici's Ernest Gheorghiu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Markus Albäck. That made the score 2-1 after 16 minutes of play. Irinel Țâpu kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. With a little luck, Nye's Markus Albäck got control of the ball when Ionică Burtea tried to sneak it across the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Nye's goal looked a bit too open when Andrei Joita came free, but Markus Albäck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC ciufulici were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Nye's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Andrei Joita took the corner. A collision led to FC ciufulici getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Nicolae Iorgulescu hit a great ball. With 30 minutes on the clock, Irinel Țâpu commited a dangerous tackle. FC ciufulici's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nye the free kick. A collision led to FC ciufulici getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Ionică Burtea hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ionică Burtea to strike the kick off in the second half. FC ciufulici's Cezar Barboni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philip Hedvall in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to FC ciufulici getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Ernest Gheorghiu hit a great ball. Cezar Barboni was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Philip Hedvall showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 61 minute of play. In the 66th minute, Joakim Wiberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philip Hedvall in the 68th minute of play forced FC ciufulici's goalkeeper Cezar Barboni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Markus Albäck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionică Burtea, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute.
