In the 8th minute, Ofelio Borizar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Grêmio Santo André booed when Halcon Sport 69 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bermund Bacardi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tabby Leceta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mai Yong Zhi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Jaime Cabral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grêmio Santo André fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Claudinei Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ofelio Borizar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Placido Amarelle during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Halcon Sport 69 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Amarelle to maneuver through the defense. After 22 played minutes Halcon Sport 69 got a freekick which was hit by Jacobo Pan. Tabby Leceta came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Grêmio Santo André's Cauan Barros. But to his dismay, Cauan Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. With his leg Claudinei Esteves managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Halcon Sport 69's Ofelio Borizar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Mai Yong Zhi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grêmio Santo André's supporters rose to their feet, but Mai Yong Zhi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tabby Leceta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 47 minutes into the game, Cauan Barros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Tabby Leceta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Cabral was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Grêmio Santo André's Bruno Nascimento got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After having played for 54 minutes, Ofelio Borizar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Halcon Sport 69's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ofelio Borizar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Placido Amarelle was shown his second yellow card after 60 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 61 played minutes Halcon Sport 69 got a freekick which was hit by Placido Amarelle. The crowd rose to their feet as Igor Czech kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tabby Leceta. That made the score 0-5 in the 64 minute of play. Jaime Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Tabby Leceta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cauan Barros took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tabby Leceta. Tabby Leceta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Bernie Strauss kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cauan Barros in the 93rd minute of play forced Halcon Sport 69's goalkeeper Tabby Leceta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Zé Pedro Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 96 played minutes, Halcon Sport 69's Boniel Tama shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Claudinei Esteves came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Halcon Sport 69 reached it.
