If Mai Yong Zhi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Nascimento hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute Emir Dede shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinei Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eagle FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Igor Czech scored to the left of an out of position Lilo Gjondeda, making the score, 2-0. A collision led to Eagle FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Enkel Pasko hit a great ball. Cauan Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the game, Mai Yong Zhi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grêmio Santo André's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eagle FC the free kick. Pirro Lenja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Cabral was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Mai Yong Zhi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th minute, Bernie Strauss ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lilo Gjondeda was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Mai Yong Zhi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Lilo Gjondeda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Andis Gjyle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Eagle FC's zone, Igor Czech stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lilo Gjondeda came out of the goal and Igor Czech tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 67 minutes into the match, Eagle FC's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Czech came free, but Lilo Gjondeda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd match minute, Grêmio Santo André was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enéas de Barros to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Grêmio Santo André's Enéas de Barros got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 84th minute Mai Yong Zhi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lilo Gjondeda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Enkel Pasko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. When the referee ended the match the Grêmio Santo André players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
