The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. GARNIC FC's Bernardino Beltran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vytaras Liaudanskas in the 14th minute of play. Savage Hippo were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after GARNIC FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vaclovas Jacinaitis took the corner. The corner ended in Vaclovas Jacinaitis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but GARNIC FC's Bernardino Beltran did a great save. Wilfredo Iraunkor kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Bernardino Beltran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jotautas Bakštys in the 21st minute of play. When Clemente Vito fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GARNIC FC's protests and gave Clemente Vito a yellow card for diving instead. Apolo Abastas hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute of the match Vaclovas Jacinaitis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernardino Beltran skillfully saved the ball. After 77 played minutes GARNIC FC got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Iraunkor. After 79 played minutes, Savage Hippo's Vaclovas Jacinaitis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bernardino Beltran came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Savage Hippo reached it. Bernardino Beltran made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Romualdas Podėris sent off a good shot on target. Bernardino Beltran was a little too slow when Romualdas Podėris got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jotautas Bakštys in the 89th minute of play forced GARNIC FC's goalkeeper Bernardino Beltran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardino Beltran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vytaras Liaudanskas in the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jotautas Bakštys in the 94th minute of play forced GARNIC FC's goalkeeper Bernardino Beltran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Savage Hippo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
