In the 12th minute Claes Forss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Lidon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's zone, Birger Klint stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Lidon came out of the goal and Birger Klint tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fac. de Ed. The audience was convinced that Tomás Marini's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Josef Lundblad was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 90th minute, Claes Forss left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pauliström fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. The Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Tomás Marini looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match was over Pauliström could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT throughout the match.
