Airborne FC's Hélio Terra got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 9 minutes into the game, Roger Lamb was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. T H F C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Airborne FC the free kick. In the 9th match minute, T H F C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Lamb to maneuver through the defense. Airborne FC's Diamantino de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonny Dexter in the 12th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Airborne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Quentin Forrest came free, but Diamantino de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Airborne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonny Dexter came free, but Diamantino de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diamantino de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ben Gibbs in the 26th minute of the match. Diamantino de Queiroz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dan Radcliffe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélio Terra in the 40th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Hélio Terra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dan Radcliffe was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. After 43 played minutes Airborne FC got a freekick which was hit by Betão Ramalho. In the 44th minute of the match Roger Lamb shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Diamantino de Queiroz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 47 played minutes T H F C got a freekick which was hit by Ben Gibbs.
The wind increased when Hélio Terra made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in T H F C's zone, Dudu Mesquita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Radcliffe came out of the goal and Dudu Mesquita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dan Radcliffe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélio Terra in the 60th minute of play. With 61 minutes on the clock, Betão Ramalho commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Roger Lamb could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Diamantino de Queiroz made a huge save. With his leg Diamantino de Queiroz managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when T H F C's Jo Timiney fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jonny Dexter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, T H F C's Diamantino de Queiroz threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jonny Dexter, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Diamantino de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonny Dexter in the 71st minute of play. Frank Melo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Airborne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonny Dexter came free, but Diamantino de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jo Timiney struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Diamantino de Queiroz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for T H F C. Diamantino de Queiroz made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Jo Timiney sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Melo in the 84th minute of play forced T H F C's goalkeeper Dan Radcliffe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonny Dexter hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the game, T H F C's Quentin Forrest nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diamantino de Queiroz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. In the 92nd minute of the match Roger Lamb shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Diamantino de Queiroz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Airborne FC's Hélio Terra got a free kick in the 95th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Airborne FC's zone, Roger Lamb stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diamantino de Queiroz came out of the goal and Roger Lamb tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over T H F C could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Airborne FC throughout the match.
