Spectators: 7459 (Terracing: 5595, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 149) fc priben's Tarmo Allikas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tarmo Allikas scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jørn Sandbakk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Väino Sõõr managed to get in a good position for a shot. fc priben's supporters rose to their feet, but Väino Sõõr was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jørn Sandbakk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peep Ridal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ove Idsø in the 9th minute. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Väino Sõõr put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jørn Sandbakk. After 13 minutes, Tarmo Allikas made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. FK Dampsaga's Jørn Sandbakk tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Ove Idsø had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, FK Dampsaga's Jonathan Birkenes got a free kick in the 31st minute. Jørn Sandbakk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Volli Osjamets in the 35th minute of play. 0-4 became the score in the 37th minute when Volli Osjamets elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jørn Sandbakk came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by fc priben's Volli Osjamets. But to his dismay, Volli Osjamets quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After the first half fc priben were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After having played for 52 minutes, Tom Karu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. fc priben's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tom Karu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 53rd match minute, FK Dampsaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Birkenes to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute, Väino Sõõr ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jørn Sandbakk was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind FK Dampsaga's goalkeeper Jørn Sandbakk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tarmo Allikas in the 61st minute of play forced FK Dampsaga's goalkeeper Jørn Sandbakk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. fc priben's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tarmo Allikas in the 62nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in FK Dampsaga's zone, Volli Osjamets stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jørn Sandbakk came out of the goal and Volli Osjamets tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When fc priben's Volli Osjamets in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FK Dampsaga's goalie prevented a goal. Jørn Sandbakk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Volli Osjamets in the 68th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ove Idsø in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peep Ridal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Jørn Sandbakk managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when fc priben's Väino Sõõr fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tarmo Allikas in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jørn Sandbakk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 73rd match minute, FK Dampsaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaute Nordskog to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th match minute, FK Dampsaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vetle Vestrheim to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute of the match, Tarmo Allikas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jørn Sandbakk was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jørn Sandbakk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tarmo Allikas, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Jørn Sandbakk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Volli Osjamets went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Tarmo Allikas took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jørn Sandbakk. Jørn Sandbakk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Jørn Sandbakk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tarmo Allikas in the 91st minute of play. FK Dampsaga's Jørn Sandbakk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save FK Dampsaga from getting a goal against them. fc priben's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
