If Afonsinho de Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, FK Dampsaga's Torkel Løkås got a free kick in the 7th minute. Natã Lima hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Jørn Sandbakk was a little too slow when Edu Maia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. 23 minutes into the game, Afonsinho de Barros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jørn Sandbakk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 27 played minutes FK Dampsaga got a freekick which was hit by Tor-Henrik Kleven. A hard shot by Natã Lima from long distance, 28 minutes into the match, got Jørn Sandbakk's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Jørn Sandbakk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Carioca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jørn Sandbakk stood somewhat misplaced when Paulo Carioca came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 35 minute. Jørn Sandbakk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Carioca's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Paulo Carioca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jørn Sandbakk having to interfere. Gaute Nordskog hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. A collision led to FK Dampsaga getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Vetle Vestrheim hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulo Carioca to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Jonathan Birkenes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 53rd play minutes Paulo Carioca shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Jørn Sandbakk and just under the crossbar into goal. 56 minutes into the game, Dinamo Web Clube's Paulo Carioca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jørn Sandbakk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. A collision led to FK Dampsaga getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Jonathan Birkenes hit a great ball. Jørn Sandbakk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonsinho de Barros in the 61st minute of play. Jørn Sandbakk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Carioca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Dedê Medeiros in the 75th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FK Dampsaga's Vetle Vestrheim. Jørn Sandbakk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonsinho de Barros in the 79th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Natã Lima got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jørn Sandbakk quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 81 minutes of play, Dinamo Web Clube's Natã Lima made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jørn Sandbakk was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the FK Dampsaga defense, Afonsinho de Barros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jørn Sandbakk. The FK Dampsaga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jørn Sandbakk should have stopped the shot. Jørn Sandbakk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Carioca, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Carioca in the 94th minute of play forced FK Dampsaga's goalkeeper Jørn Sandbakk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dinamo Web Clube's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
