Raido Asjalik's late challenge caught a fc priben's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raido Asjalik helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 played minutes JK Koljala got a freekick which was hit by Raido Asjalik. 10 minutes into the match, JK Koljala's goalkeeper Aimar Rääk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Väino Sõõr. If Väino Sõõr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the JK Koljala defense, Väino Sõõr kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aimar Rääk. The JK Koljala fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aimar Rääk should have stopped the shot. Aimar Rääk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tarmo Allikas, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. When Olaf Varm fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JK Koljala's protests and gave Olaf Varm a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 played minutes fc priben got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Krae. 37 minutes into the match, JK Koljala's goalkeeper Aimar Rääk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Väino Sõõr. Oodo Sauna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Peep Ridal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tarmo Allikas in the 44th minute of play forced JK Koljala's goalkeeper Aimar Rääk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the game, JK Koljala's Ailar Hermann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Peep Ridal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Taaniel Kerm made a kick off. Aimar Rääk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Väino Sõõr, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute, Tarmo Allikas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ailar Hermann struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Peep Ridal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JK Koljala. After 60 played minutes fc priben got a freekick which was hit by Virgo Lend. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind fc priben's goalkeeper Peep Ridal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Tarmo Allikas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aimar Rääk was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. In the 64th minute Oodo Sauna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peep Ridal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olaf Varm hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, JK Koljala's Ailar Hermann got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Väino Sõõr took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aimar Rääk. Aimar Rääk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Peep Ridal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ailar Hermann showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 85 minute of play. After 88 minutes, Väino Sõõr mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the fc priben and the JK Koljala players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, fc priben's Väino Sõõr got a free kick in the 88th minute. Taaniel Kerm's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Peep Ridal firmly grabbed it by the left post.
