Bruno Salles hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Enzo Rey who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Natanael Sena when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enzo Rey got free with Natanael Sena in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 32 minutes Monumento Sports's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was León Carrera who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that León Carrera got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Natanael Sena quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 34 minutes, Joel Lopes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monumento Sports and the MARTINETA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 34 played minutes Monumento Sports got a freekick which was hit by Joel Lopes. Natanael Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardino Niva, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Marcos Acuña kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. When Bernardino Niva came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the MARTINETA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardino Niva couldn't finish the play. The supporters of MARTINETA booed when Monumento Sports was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Monumento Sports's Natanael Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Rey in the 73rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Monumento Sports's zone, Bernardino Niva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Natanael Sena came out of the goal and Bernardino Niva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute, Enzo Rey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enzo Rey hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. León Carrera ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that León Carrera got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Natanael Sena quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Bruno Salles fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monumento Sports's protests and gave Bruno Salles a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd match minute, Monumento Sports was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Salles to maneuver through the defense. In the 95thth minute Enzo Pezzella beautifully dribbled past Monumento Sports's defense and it looked for a moment as a certain goal, but Natanael Sena pulled off a phantom save to prevent the ball from scoring on his left hand side. If Enzo Rey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
