Spectators: 7650 (Terracing: 5739, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pedrão Saldanha started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes Until Five got a freekick which was hit by Duda Saldanha. Until Five's Jerônimo Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrão Saldanha in the 9th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Until Five's Jerônimo Paraibano got a free kick in the 11th minute. With a little luck, Until Five's Jerônimo Araújo got control of the ball when Christiano Alves tried to sneak it across the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Until Five's goalkeeper Jerônimo Araújo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christiano Alves. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clóvis Fonseca in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Álvaro Zanette prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 19 minutes into the match, CA Portugália's Angelo Senna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jerônimo Araújo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 25 minutes, Umberto Montenegro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CA Portugália and the Until Five players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute, Umberto Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute of the match Régis Baptista shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Álvaro Zanette showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to CA Portugália getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Umberto Montenegro hit a great ball. The supporters of Until Five booed when CA Portugália was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruy Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Álvaro Zanette came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Until Five's Vicente de Amorim. But to his dismay, Vicente de Amorim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 41 minutes into the game, Pedrão Saldanha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CA Portugália's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Until Five the free kick. After recieving a nice pass, Until Five's Régis Baptista tried to score from far away in the 42nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Ruy Machado kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jerônimo Araújo. That made the score 1-1 in the 48 minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clóvis Fonseca was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes CA Portugália got a freekick which was hit by Pedrão Saldanha. In the 54th match minute, CA Portugália was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evandro Barros to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute, Régis Baptista sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and CA Portugália's Álvaro Zanette didn't even have to move. Bruno Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the game, Evandro Barros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CA Portugália's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Until Five the free kick. A collision led to CA Portugália getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Evandro Barros hit a great ball. Celso Negri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christiano Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Jerônimo Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, CA Portugália's Celso Negri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jerônimo Araújo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jerônimo Araújo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celso Negri went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, CA Portugália's Celso Negri got a free kick in the 80th minute. CA Portugália's Álvaro Zanette proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save CA Portugália from getting a goal against them. In the 83rd minute, Ruy Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Clóvis Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88 minutes, Bruno Freitas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CA Portugália and the Until Five players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 89 minutes, Régis Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Until Five's supporters crossed their fingers, but Régis Baptista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vicente de Amorim hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Jerônimo Araújo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano Alves in the 97th minute of play. The supporters of Until Five booed when CA Portugália was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Negri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Until Five's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
