Gorgory's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curumalán AFC the free kick. After 21 played minutes Gorgory got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Ramone. In the 23rd minute, Alan Velasco made a precise shot to the right of Melchor Chorache. Gorgory's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Tiburcio Karlo might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geronimo Gabrio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiburcio Karlo ran back to his position shaking his head. Adolfo Ramone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geronimo Gabrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Ramone in the 31st minute of play. Perico Perez charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Perico Perez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Curumalán AFC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Freddy Clementi hit a great ball. Geronimo Gabrio made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Agustin Osasun sent off a good shot on target. Tiburcio Karlo's late challenge caught a Curumalán AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiburcio Karlo helped the player get up and apologised. Tiburcio Karlo kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. A collision led to Gorgory getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Agustin Justin hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hernán Losada in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melchor Chorache saved Gorgory from getting behind. Melchor Chorache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Menendo in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alan Velasco was the one to do the kick off. Gorgory's Melchor Chorache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Velasco in the 51st minute of play. When Freddy Clementi fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curumalán AFC's protests and gave Freddy Clementi a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Menendo in the 84th minute of play forced Gorgory's goalkeeper Melchor Chorache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Agustin Justin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 86 played minutes Alan Velasco shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Gorgory's Melchor Chorache to catch but Alan Velasco was lucky. It became 0-5 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Geronimo Gabrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Ramone in the 95th minute of play.
