The referee showed Di Corre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Chinho FC's Di Corre got a free kick in the 37th minute. The supporters of Chinho FC booed when FALCÕES VERDES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Falcão didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute Isaltino Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilson de Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chinho FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Paraense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmo Sergipano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Chinho FC defense, Júlio Fonseca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gilson de Alcântara. The Chinho FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilson de Alcântara should have stopped the shot. If Baltazar Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baltazar Tepedino's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gilson de Alcântara firmly grabbed it by the left post. Zé Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FALCÕES VERDES's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
