Adriano Ottaviani scored 2-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelo Peruzzi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Franco Catena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonello Mariano having to interfere. After 39 minutes of play, San Felice a Ema U.L.'s Angelo Toccaceli made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelo Peruzzi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Miro Klose sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the game, FC Aquile Azzurre's Miro Klose nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antonello Mariano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

In the 94th minute, FC Aquile Azzurre's Franco Catena ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Antonello Mariano. Antonello Mariano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-4. The FC Aquile Azzurre players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
