Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thomas Häll to make the kick off. Aam Surianto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Häll, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Putra Rewulu booed when Ipswich Traktor Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bo-Erik Anselius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ipswich Traktor Boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zulfadli Kiswanto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 67 minutes into the match, Ipswich Traktor Boys's goal looked a bit too open when M. Andik Wilmansyah came free, but Jens Molander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Putra Rewulu's Aam Surianto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Putra Rewulu from getting a goal against them. If Bo-Erik Anselius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Putra Rewulu supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ipswich Traktor Boys's performance. The match ended with a win for Ipswich Traktor Boys.
