Magallanes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MILLONARIOS FC the free kick. In the 6th minute, Romeo Morel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the match, Luis Díaz notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Magallanes's Tomás Las Casas. Tomás Las Casas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 14th match minute, Magallanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Serpa to maneuver through the defense. Quin Grijan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Tomás Las Casas made a huge save. MILLONARIOS FC's Xalvador Olmos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Magallanes. 19 minutes into the match, MILLONARIOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Quintero came free, but Eleazar Betzanos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Brian Izaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleazar Betzanos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomás Las Casas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Díaz in the 77th minute of the match.
