A collision led to STORM getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Aleksandr Chernogrivov hit a great ball. Doğa Hazret took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian Izaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Aravena kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Tomás Las Casas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikhail Kuklis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Brian Izaga sped through STORM's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Doğa Hazret. In the 17th minute Brian Izaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doğa Hazret saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Luis Johnson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Doğa Hazret quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tomás Las Casas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valeriy Vishnevskiy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute Valeriy Vishnevskiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Las Casas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Magallanes's Tomás Las Casas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valeriy Vishnevskiy in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Izaga in the 36th minute of play forced STORM's goalkeeper Doğa Hazret to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. STORM were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Magallanes's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aleksandr Chernogrivov took the corner. STORM's Aleksandr Chernogrivov was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tomás Las Casas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 47th minute, one of STORM:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for STORM. STORM:s Doğa Hazret showed great skill when he stopped Luis Johnson:s penalty. The STORM players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Magallanes were winning 0-1.

STORM made a substitution. Danila Kudryashov replaced Veniamin Nilov. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valeriy Vishnevskiy in the 56th minute of play forced Magallanes's goalkeeper Tomás Las Casas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magallanes's Tomás Las Casas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valeriy Vishnevskiy in the 58th minute of play. After having played for 59 minutes, Christian Aravena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Magallanes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Aravena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. STORM's Konstantin Kartashev was substituted for Emmanuil Seleznev. STORM's Albert Gatsiskiy was substituted for Evgeniy Kiyko. Tomás Las Casas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danila Kudryashov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Doğa Hazret made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Herminio Quintero sent off a good shot on target. STORM's Doğa Hazret played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brian Izaga in the 68th minute of play. Tomás Las Casas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniil Biryukov, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Doğa Hazret made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Christian Aravena sent off a good shot on target. 77 minutes into the match, STORM's goal looked a bit too open when Brian Izaga came free, but Doğa Hazret reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Magallanes defense, Danila Kudryashov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomás Las Casas. The Magallanes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomás Las Casas should have stopped the shot. In the 86th minute of the match Antonio Mackenzie shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Doğa Hazret showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 89 minutes, Konstantin Kartashev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the STORM and the Magallanes players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of STORM:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Magallanes:s goal. Tomás Las Casas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniil Biryukov, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After 95 minutes of play, STORM's Danila Kudryashov made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomás Las Casas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
