Lazaro Abadie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Magallanes's Tomás Las Casas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Ignado in the 9th minute of play. Tomás Las Casas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tadeo Ignado's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. When Tadeo Ignado came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the River CBBA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tadeo Ignado couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, River CBBA's Aaron Göransson got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute of the match Antonio Mackenzie sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nemesio Abella skillfully saved the ball. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Tadeo Ignado put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tomás Las Casas. Nemesio Abella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Jacinto Herboso in the 23rd minute of play. Magallanes's Tomás Las Casas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Ignado in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, River CBBA's Tadeo Ignado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomás Las Casas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Tadeo Ignado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomás Las Casas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 33 minutes into the game, Aaron Göransson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Tomás Las Casas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brian Izaga got free with Nemesio Abella in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomás Las Casas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeo Ignado, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Tomás Las Casas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lazaro Abadie in the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tadeo Ignado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Tadeo Ignado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Las Casas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tadeo Ignado, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 54 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Tomás Las Casas was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 57th match minute, Magallanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Jacinto Herboso to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as River CBBA's Tadeo Ignado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tomás Las Casas. That made the score 1-4 after 60 minutes of play. With a little luck, Magallanes's Tomás Las Casas got control of the ball when Aaron Göransson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tadeo Ignado took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomás Las Casas. Tomás Las Casas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. In the 76th minute, Tadeo Ignado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 79 minutes into the match, River CBBA's Tadeo Ignado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomás Las Casas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 81 minutes Magallanes's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Reinaldo Merlo who took care of the corner kick. The corner led River CBBA's Reinaldo Merlo to fire away a dangerous shot which Tomás Las Casas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tadeo Ignado did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-6 to the left of a surprised Tomás Las Casas 84 minutes into the match. Cheng Ang Ning received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tomás Las Casas came out and tried to block the shot, but Cheng Ang Ning slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 88th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricardo Rojas during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ricardo Rojas kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After 91 played minutes, Magallanes's Leopoldo Jacinto Herboso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nemesio Abella came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Magallanes reached it. The crowd rose to their feet as Jonatán Maidana kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tomás Las Casas. That made the score 1-8 in the 95 minute of play.
