He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sc Ajax Hirtenberg reached it. Nils Mört's late challenge caught a Simbo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nils Mört helped the player get up and apologised. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauricio Jurdan got free with Christopher Benscheider in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Christopher Benscheider showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Jurdan, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The supporters of Simbo FC booed when Sc Ajax Hirtenberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Hendrik Amerhauser didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Jurdan came free, but Christopher Benscheider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute Lis Tagliani suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 61 minutes into the game, Rolando Ottonello was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Christopher Benscheider showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Jurdan in the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Timo Janig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Lauaxeta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Timo Janig reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Octavio Lauaxeta. The goal made the score 0-2. 77 minutes into the match, Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Jurdan came free, but Christopher Benscheider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flor Petera during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Simbo FC's Flor Petera got a free kick in the 78th minute. Christopher Benscheider came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Simbo FC's Victoriano Banegas. But to his dismay, Victoriano Banegas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Christopher Benscheider took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Jurdan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Feliberto Mouricio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the game, Mauricio Jurdan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Christopher Benscheider was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Simbo FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
