The referee ignored DARAS's protests and gave Dragan Mangezov a yellow card for diving instead. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by DARAS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Teobald Giertych was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Kadzidlowen's players had a chance to rest. Jaroslaw Perkowski made a great header on FC Kadzidlowen's corner, it was just that DARAS's Sandro Ormea managed to reach the ball for a save. Sandro Ormea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaroslaw Perkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. If Emil Glaza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The DARAS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 35 minutes into the game, Honorio Arnas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DARAS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Kadzidlowen the free kick. After 35 played minutes DARAS got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Arnas. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by DARAS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The corner led FC Kadzidlowen's Emil Glaza to fire away a dangerous shot which Sandro Ormea despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Tanek Swoboda managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Kadzidlowen's supporters rose to their feet, but Tanek Swoboda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandro Ormea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jaroslaw Perkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marc Apelkvist lost his temper 46 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olaf Flis to make the kick off. When Olaf Flis came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the FC Kadzidlowen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olaf Flis couldn't finish the play. After 55 played minutes DARAS got a freekick which was hit by Biagio Pantano. An unexpected shot in the 63rd minute by Jaroslaw Perkowski got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. DARAS's Rudi Voeler was substituted for Ildefonso Frascuelo. A collision led to DARAS getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Biagio Pantano hit a great ball. DARAS's Boycho Barbutski was substituted for Honorio Arnas. FC Kadzidlowen made a substitution. Zachariasz Koperski replaced Olaf Flis. Sandro Ormea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zachariasz Koperski in the 85th minute of the match. Sandro Ormea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zachariasz Koperski went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Toni Nenchev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The FC Kadzidlowen supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Kadzidlowen would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
