Andriy Trubin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Cirella in the 4th minute of the match. FC Wil 1900's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Reinhard Eichel in the 5th minute. The corner ended in Reinhard Eichel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Ruh Lviv's Andriy Trubin did a great save. Yanic Kulenovic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kostyantyn Tereschenko in the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, FC Ruh Lviv's goal looked a bit too open when Karim Gerber came free, but Andriy Trubin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th match minute, FC Ruh Lviv was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svyatoslav Krutyvus to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, Illja Muzychuk made a precise shot to the right of Yanic Kulenovic. FC Wil 1900's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, FC Wil 1900's Reinhard Eichel got a free kick in the 28th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Myroslav Akymenko in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yanic Kulenovic prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karim Gerber came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Andriy Trubin could save by the left post. FC Wil 1900's Germano Despland got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vadym Yarovyi's late challenge caught a FC Wil 1900's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vadym Yarovyi helped the player get up and apologised. Vadym Yarovyi kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. The corner ended in Reinhard Eichel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Ruh Lviv's Andriy Trubin did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vagner Penisson got free with Andriy Trubin in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Myroslav Akymenko made a kick off. FC Ruh Lviv's Andriy Trubin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vagner Penisson in the 55th minute of play. 55 minutes into the game, Vagner Penisson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Andriy Trubin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vagner Penisson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karim Gerber in the 60th minute of play forced FC Ruh Lviv's goalkeeper Andriy Trubin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andriy Trubin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vagner Penisson, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Myroslav Akymenko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Illja Muzychuk charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Illja Muzychuk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 70 played minutes FC Ruh Lviv got a freekick which was hit by Illja Muzychuk. Karim Gerber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Andriy Trubin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andriy Trubin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vagner Penisson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vagner Penisson in the 75th minute of play forced FC Ruh Lviv's goalkeeper Andriy Trubin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Myroslav Akymenko got free with Yanic Kulenovic in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 77th minute, Myroslav Akymenko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yanic Kulenovic was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Adam Hinnen managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Wil 1900's supporters rose to their feet, but Adam Hinnen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andriy Trubin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81st minute Karim Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andriy Trubin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karim Gerber in the 83rd minute of play forced FC Ruh Lviv's goalkeeper Andriy Trubin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladyslav Tovt charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. FC Ruh Lviv were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over FC Wil 1900's much stronger midfield.
