Roberto Quirze who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Andriy Trubin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. FC Ruh Lviv's Andriy Trubin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Hever in the 30th minute of play. Lisandro Rameriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anatoliy Batyuk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Legacy Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Kostyantyn Tereschenko came free, but Lisandro Rameriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lisandro Rameriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Myroslav Akymenko in the 41st minute of the match. Valentyn Lysogir's late challenge caught a Legacy Youth Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentyn Lysogir helped the player get up and apologised. Valentyn Lysogir hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as FC Ruh Lviv's Anatoliy Batyuk slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lisandro Rameriz. That made the score 0-3 after 58 minutes of play. The Legacy Youth Academy supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Ruh Lviv's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Ruh Lviv.
