In the 6th minute Lobo Guará were awarded a corner. Miguel Monsalve went to the cornerflag to take it. Artur Branco made a great header on Lobo Guará's corner, it was just that DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Luiz Guilherme Simão managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, Lobo Guará's Vânderson Esteves got control of the ball when Rafinha Camargo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luiz Guilherme Simão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of DIPLOMATA FC PAB booed when Lobo Guará was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Monsalve didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguel Monsalve took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luiz Guilherme Simão. Luiz Guilherme Simão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Branco in the 26th minute of play forced DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalkeeper Luiz Guilherme Simão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Gustavo Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Guilherme Simão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Luan Gaspar got a free kick in the 30th minute. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Luiz Guilherme Simão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Nunes in the 31st minute of play. Luiz Guilherme Simão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustavo Nunes went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. A collision led to Lobo Guará getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Cristián Pavon hit a great ball. Rafinha Camargo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 47th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After the first half Lobo Guará were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustavo Nunes was the one to do the kick off. If Albertinho Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th play minute Gustavo Mendonça came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Luiz Guilherme Simão. 0-5. After 60 minutes of play, Lobo Guará's Gustavo Nunes made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Guilherme Simão was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luiz Guilherme Simão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustavo Nunes in the 63rd minute. After 64 minutes, Andrézinho Antunes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DIPLOMATA FC PAB and the Lobo Guará players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lobo Guará made a substitution. Júnior Pires replaced Artur Branco. After a rather tough play, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Andrézinho Antunes got a free kick in the 65th minute. With a little luck, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Luiz Guilherme Simão got control of the ball when Gustavo Mendonça tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Marcelo Leite fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DIPLOMATA FC PAB's protests and gave Marcelo Leite a yellow card for diving instead. Samuel Palmeira hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Miguel Monsalve recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th match minute, Lobo Guará was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Andrézinho Antunes got a free kick in the 78th minute. After 79 played minutes Lobo Guará got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Martins. In the 81st minute of the match Artur Gerber sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vânderson Esteves skillfully saved the ball. When Andrézinho Antunes came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the DIPLOMATA FC PAB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrézinho Antunes couldn't finish the play.
