After 6 played minutes Uptown Otters got a freekick which was hit by Staffan Bergman. Aimilios Manolas made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Gustavo Nunes sent off a good shot on target. 10 minutes into the game, Gustavo Martins was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lobo Guará's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uptown Otters the free kick. After a rather tough play, Lobo Guará's Gustavo Martins got a free kick in the 10th minute. Liviu Zubaşcu hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Gustavo Nunes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aimilios Manolas firmly grabbed it by the left post. Rolando Tearle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19thth minute of the game Miguel Monsalve who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uptown Otters's Aimilios Manolas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vânderson Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Oskar Jonsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Lobo Guará's Miguel Monsalve shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 39th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Aimilios Manolas but with some difficulty. In the 43rd minute of the match Albertinho Leite sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aimilios Manolas skillfully saved the ball. Gustavo Mendonça struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Aimilios Manolas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lobo Guará. Aimilios Manolas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustavo Mendonça in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Liviu Zubaşcu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Francis Lefevre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Monsalve recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Cristián Pavon fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lobo Guará's protests and gave Cristián Pavon a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Uptown Otters booed when Lobo Guará was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristián Pavon didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gustavo Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 60 minutes, Miguel Monsalve mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lobo Guará and the Uptown Otters players grew even worse after the yellow card. Miguel Monsalve hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. If Fabian Kaszubowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vânderson Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Kaszubowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Staffan Bergman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Vânderson Esteves skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Roberto Baiano charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roberto Baiano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Roberto Baiano hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Aimilios Manolas came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Lobo Guará's Olívio Freire. But to his dismay, Olívio Freire quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 80th minute, Gustavo Mendonça got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Uptown Otters's goal looked a bit too open when Olívio Freire came free, but Aimilios Manolas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uptown Otters's Aimilios Manolas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Mendonça in the 91st minute of play. Aimilios Manolas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júnior Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Uptown Otters's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
